The Quality Support Technician/Detailer ensures every repaired vehicle is inspection-clean and delivery-ready. You’ll own the final quality check and detailing process and support shop operations with organization, light maintenance, and equipment care.
Perform thorough interior/exterior detailing before customer delivery
Visually inspect repaired areas; promptly alert the GM or assigned tech to any defects
Assist with general shop and grounds maintenance
Inspect goods/products against quality and safety standards
Help confirm test equipment calibration and readiness
Consistently use required PPE; follow hazardous-waste procedures; join monthly safety meetings
Maintain/detail department tools and equipment; keep work areas organized and return tools/materials to designated spots
Identify opportunities to improve QC processes
Handle daily facility cleaning (mopping, dusting, sweeping, trash, restroom service)
Make minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
Prior automotive experience strongly preferred (not required)
Clear, professional communication and basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to support changing shop needs and priorities
